The National Health Insurance Fund is an institution operating in the field of health protection. The National Health Insurance Fund (PSDF) guarantees that the costs of medical treatment provided to persons covered by compulsory health insurance (PSD) will be covered by the Fund.

How can it help you?

Compulsory Health Insurance

The National Health Insurance Fund supervises the PSDF. On the Fund’s website, you will find information about health services covered by the Fund, information on PSD, etc.

The European Health Insurance Card

The European Health Insurance Card (ESDK) is a document that confirms the right of a person covered by PSD to receive essential medical care services paid for by the Fund during a temporary stay in the European Union, the countries of the European Economic Area, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

Cards are issued by the Fund upon filling out an application and providing the needed documents.
