Consular assistance 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Lithuanian embassies/consulates provide consular assistance to Lithuanian citizens traveling abroad.

Initial consultation on matters of urgent consular assistance to Lithuanian citizens traveling abroad is provided outside the working hours of Lithuanian embassies by phone number +370 5 236 2444.

Consular information during the working hours of the ministry is provided by filling out an electronic inquiry form.

Information for travellers

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs constantly updates information for travellers and provides recommendations on security measures that should be taken when traveling to specific countries or parts of them on the page keliauk.urm.lt.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs gives you the opportunity to register your trip so that it is easier for them to contact you and help you in case of need (e.g. in the event of an emergency) in a foreign country.
